I am a writer, editor and content strategist working with small organisations, charities and independent consultants. I help you develop written content that communicates clearly and consistently, earning credibility with the people you most want to reach.
My career has taken me across a diverse range of sectors, from not-for-profits and higher education to finance and real estate. I’ve crafted internal communications and written thought leadership articles as well as shaping messaging for organisations navigating change. I have also written winning submissions for high-profile industry honours, including the Risk Awards, the IFR Awards, and the Commercial Property Awards. Throughout, I find the core challenge is always the same: creating content that informs, influences and connects with people.
Alongside my professional life, I am the founder and editor of Just Read It, a blog dedicated to championing books by Black authors and authors from minority backgrounds. That work led to a contributing writer role with The British Black list and a place on the judging panel for the Ink Book Prize. I was also longlisted for the 4thWrite Short Story Prize in 2021, an achievement that affirmed my understanding of what makes a good story and that I can write one.
I know that for small organisations and independent consultants, writing content can feel like the last item on a very long-to-do list. I’m here to change that by working with you to develop a content strategy and produce written pieces that give you a credible, clear voice and a consistent message.
